Nelson lives outside of Nashville, Tennessee. He describes himself as an ordinary person who discovered and refined an effective high-probability SPX options selling strategy that has provided him with reliable daily, weekly, and monthly income. A retired administrator, Nelson graduated from a state university with a C average.

He began his trading journey in the late 1980s by trading futures contracts. After experiencing limited success, he shifted to selling Naked Put Options and Covered Call Options on stocks he owned, eventually moving into single-stock Credit Spread Options. Although he achieved success and continues to do well with those products, Nelson sought a more consistent, shorter-term strategy for generating income during his retirement years.

He wanted something simple, high-probability, lower-risk, and less stressful—something he could repeat day after day.
